Performance

It's time to train smarter not harder.

1:1 Personal TrainingGroup Training

Drawing on elements from Pilates, traditional strength training, bodyweight disciplines and yoga, we place equal importance on strength and mobility to provide well-rounded training outcomes. Our experienced coaches create individualised sessions that focus on each client's specific needs.

Adapt Health and Performance offers 1:1 personal training and group training from its North Sydney studio, with VALD performance testing for strength, power and balance. Coaches work alongside the allied health team so training can stay connected to clinical care when needed.

Why performance test?

  • Performance testing provides clear data that allows us to identify strengths, weaknesses and asymmetries in specific movements. This allows us to tailor training to specific areas that require improvement.
  • Repeated testing allows for accurate measurement of improvement or change in your training over time. Providing visible results allows us to be accountable in your progress.
  • Comparison with peers in your age group or sports discipline gives added insight for goal setting and injury management.

What's involved?

  • Discussion of all health and exercise goals as well as injury history
  • 1 hour consultation involving a tailored battery of tests and movements using force plate and isometric dynamometry, as well as a combination of functional movement screening
